Dr. Christopher Shade and Dr. J. Matthew Andry team up to teach you about the effective use of Cannabis and the treatment of Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency. The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is the body’s primary tool of homeostasis. Knowledge of the existence and workings of the ECS is relatively new, though treatment of its dysfunctions has been a staple of human healings for over six thousand years. We will examine the physiology of the ECS and the pathophysiology of CECD, Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency and discuss methods for replacing these vital fatty acid paracrine and autocrine hormones. We will discuss ways we can encourage and help our patients to support endocannabinoid production and function. We will then examine the pros and cons of various methods of replacement via phytocannabinoids from the cannabis plant and other medicinal herbs. We will then in more detail discuss using a water-soluble hemp oil for effectively treating cannabinoid deficiencies in our patients.
